Johnston of Bibb County, GA as printed in The Christian Index of 30 January 1861: "Died in Rutland's District, Bibb County, at her residence, on the second day of this month, Mrs. Millison S. Johnston, aged seventy. The deceased was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church for forty-five years. She joined at Fishing Creek Church, in Baldwin county. She lived and died with her trust in her Savior. She was asked in her last illness if she was willing to die and she pointed her hand upwards and replied to her Jehovah. The deceased was one of the oldest citizens of Bibb County, and one of the members of the founders of Sardis Church, in said county. The deceased left a large family of children and friends to mourn her death, but died in full faith that her friends' loss is her eternal gain. Blessed are they that die in the Lord. A Friend" Transcribed from microfilm by Linda Ward Meadows, GGG Granddaughter of William Johnston and Millison S. Hogan Johnston.
