Kelpsig will be held at 2pm Thursday in Christ Episcopal Church with burial in Riverside Cemetery, north gate. Klepsig, died Monday in a local hospital. Born in Anniston, Ala., he had lived in Macon most of his life and was the son of the late Peter E. and Elviria P. Klepsig. He was a World War II Army veteran and was a retired business manager at Pipe Fitters Local #472 where he had received a 50-year pin. He was also a member of Christ Episcopal Church, the Masons, Scottish Rite, and the Shriners. Survivors, include his wife, Sarah T. Klepsig; children, Peter J. Klepsig Jr. and Joseph Earl Klepsig, both of Macon; Brenda German of California and Faye Scott of Gray; sister, Joann Sims of Tuscalossa, Ala.; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 tonight in Snow's Memorial Chapel, Cherry Street. Additional Comments: Peter was born 17 Aug 1924. Georgia death certificate #048288.
