                              John R. Lamb
 Funeral services for John R. Lamb, 85, of 861 Laurel Ave., who died Wednesday 
in a local hospital, will be held in the chapel of Hart's Mortuary at 1:30pm 
today. Dr. Albert L. Cardwell will officiate and burial will be in Cedar Hill 
Cemetery in Cochran.
 Pallbearers will be Richard Coe, William Giles, Albert Smith, Bob NeSmith, 
and George Bost.
 Mr. Lamb was born in Twiggs County, the son of R. R. Lamb and Elizabeth 
Roland Lamb, and had lived in Macon most of his life. He was a member of the 
Baptist Church and the Modern Woodmen. Prior to his retirement he was 
associated with the Cherokee Brick Company for 33 years.
 Surviving are his wife, the former Miss Daisy Martin of Macon; one brother, 
H. S. Lamb of Macon; and one niece, Mrs. Sarah Lord of Macon.
