                         Joseph Lamb Dies at 76

 Services for Joseph I. Lamb, 76 of 1134 Columbus Rd., who died Thursday, will 
be held Saturday at 2pm in Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in Glen Haven 
Memorial Gardens.

 A native of Twiggs County, Mr. Lamb had lived in Macon for 22 years. He was a 
retired night watchman for the Cochran Motor Co. and a deacon and member of 
West Macon Baptist Church.

 Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Stella Warren Lamb of Macon; two sons, Marvin 
Lamb of Dublin and Willie B. Lamb of Macon; six daughters, Mrs. Lila Mae 
Garnto, Mrs. Ellen Shiver, Mrs. Janell Smith, Mrs. Faye Smith, Mrs. Laverne 
Howard, all of Macon, and Mrs. Bernice Sanders of Warner Robins, several 
grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Additional Comments:
Joseph was born 11 Dec 1897 to Arthur B. "Artie" Lamb and Bessie Mae Barlow 
Lamb. Georgia death certificate #000455.
