His wife, Jewell Patterson Lee, is also buried there. His parents, Frank S. Lee and Agnes Virginia Tindall Lee, are buried in the Lee Cemetery in Twiggs County. From The Macon Telegraph 8-17-1957 Page 12A John David Lee Claimed By Death Funeral servcies for John David Lee, 71, who died at his residence, 2435 Beech Avenue at 1:17AM yesterday, will be held in the chapel of Hart's Mortuary at 10AM today. The Rev. Ned Steele will officiate and burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Pallbearers are to be Russell Floyd, Franklin Lee, Thomas E. Lee, Albert Sanders, and J. L. Batson. Honorary pallbearers will be Dan Dunwoody, W. E. Drinnon, Judge Oscar Long, Judge Walter Stephens, U. T. Winslett, Julian Turner, D. L. Wilson, and J. W. Rycroft. Mr. Lee, who had retired, formerly was with the tax collector's office. He was born in Twiggs County and had lived in Macon 44 years. He was a member of the Centenary Methodist Church and of the __________. Surviving are his wife, the former Miss Jewell Patterson; one daughter, Mrs. L. Berry Moody; two grandchildren, Berry and David Moody; two brothers, J. F. Lee, Hawkinsville and Thomas Lee, Danville; two sisters, Mrs. J. A. Roberts and Miss Mary Lee, Macon; and several nieces and nephews.
