K. LITTLE T. K. Little, 79, died at his home 109 Lamar Street, yesterday morning at 8 o’clock after an extended illness. Mr. Little was born and reared in Putnam County, but had made his home in this city for thirty years. He was a retired traveling salesman, and was widely known throughout Middle Georgia. He was a member of the Methodist Church and a Civil War veteran, having joined the Confederate Army when a lad of 15. Surviving are nione children, Mrs. C. B. Babbitt, of Miami, Fla.; E. C. Little, Mrs. R. H. Sissons, Mrs. G. A. Willis, Miss Clyde Little, Mrs. Kenmore Burns, Mrs. J. M. Heard, of Macon, and Mark T. Little and T. K. Little, Jr., of New York City; two sisters , Mrs. C. C. Bowden, of Athens, and Mrs. R. A. Champion, of Atlanta. Funeral services will be held from the residence, 109 Lamar Street, this afternoon at 4 o’clock. Rev. J. S. Grahl, pastor of Centenary Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery. The following grandsons will be pallbearers, Robert Sissons, Willis Little, George Willis, Harry Burns, Kenmore Burns and Milton Heard, Jr. Additional Comments: Compiler Notes: T. K. Little complete name was Thomas Kinchen Little who was born in Putnam County, Georgia on 31 May 1846 and died 5 May 1925 at his home in Macon, Bibb County, Georgia. He married Elizabeth “Lizzie” Carter who also was born in Putnam County, Georgia on 2 November 1850 and died at the residence of her daughter Mrs. Milton Heard on 29 November 1850. Both are buried at Riverside Cemetery and are identified with obituaries. You can also find them on “Find A Grave”. Thomas Kinchen Little’s parents are Littleton Ludlow Little, born 1818 in Hancock County, Georgia and died in 1894 in Greene County, Georgia. His mother was Caroline Eliza Gregory, she was born 1825 in Georgia, and died 1910 in Greene County, Georgia. They both can be found on a family tree.
