-MACON - Betty Horton Martin; 78, of Macon, Ga. went to be with her Lord and 
Savior on Sunday, February 3, 2008. A graveside service will be held Thursday, 
February 7, 2008 at 1 p.m. in the Riverside Cemetery. Reverend Len Woodard 
will officiate. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 7:00 p.m. till 9:00 
p.m. in the funeral home. -Born in Bibb County, she was the daughter of the 
late George Roswell Horton and Alice Huff Horton. She grew up attending the 
Log Cabin Baptist Church and was a longtime member of the Victory Christian 
Center. She attended Mt. DeSales Academy and Georgia Southwestern College. -
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, John F. Martin Sr. of Macon, Ga. 
Children, John F. Martin Jr.(Anita) of Ellerslie, Ga. and Kay M. Abell (Tommy) 
of Macon, Ga. Four Grandchildren, Seven great Grandchildren. -The family can 
be contacted at the residence of Kay and Tommy Abell 2201 Wesleyan Drive, 
Macon, Ga. 31210. -Hart's Mortuary has charge of arrangements. Betty Martin
