James Frank McCray, 73, died Friday morning, October 19, 2007 in an Atlanta Hospital. Funeral services were held at 2 P.M. Monday, October 22, 2007 at Snow's Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue. The Rev. Herbert Williams, Rev. Jimmy Harrison and Andy Asbell officiated. Burial followed in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. The family received friends Sunday afternoon from 3:00 until 5:00 P.M. -Rev. McCray, son of the late Jimmy and Mary Ely McCray, was born in Wrightsville, Georgia. He was a graduate from Tennessee Temple College and also served in the United States Army. Rev. McCray was the pastor at Grace and Truth Baptist Church and was a pastor for over 30 years. He was the former owner of Houston Collision and Auto Body in Warner Robins. - Rev. McCray is survived by his wife, Betty McCray of Centerville; son, Morris (Matt) McCray of Byron; daughter, Sandy Lynn Williams of Warner Robins; sister, Jackie Carr of Centerville; seven grandchildren, three great- grandsons, several nieces and nephews. -Visit www.MeM.com to express tributes. -Snow's Memorial Chapel Funeral and Cremation Services, Pio Nono Avenue, had charge of arrangements.
