MACON - Hazel Lee McGrotha, 85, went home to be with her Lord on Monday, 
December 17, 2007 in a local hospital. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., 
Thursday at Snow's Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue with burial in Glen Haven 
Memorial Gardens. Pastor Joe Bowker and the Rev. Jerry Barron will officiate. 
The family will meet friends from 6 - 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home and 
may be contacted at the residence of Reva and Gerald Barron, 3711 David Drive, 
Macon 31216. -Mrs. McGrotha, wife of the late Charles D. McGrotha, was born in 
Thomaston and had lived in Macon most of her life. She was a homemaker and a 
member of Berean Baptist Church where she was also a member of the Heritage 
Sunday School Class. Mrs. McGrotha was the mother of the late Byron A. Jones, 
Jr. -Survivors include her daughter, Reva (Gerald) Barron of Macon; her 
grandchildren, Jerry (Tessa) Barron of Greenville, SC, Felicia (Clint) Holmes 
of Forsyth, GA, David Jones of Tuscaloosa, AL and Sarah Jones of Greenville, 
SC and six great grandchildren, Molly, Seth and Will Barron and Lauren, Dylan
