Senator-Elect McNeil Pneumonia Victim

Macon – W.D. McNeill, prominent Macon attorney, senator-elect from the
twenty-second Georgia district, died at Fitzgerald from pneumonia, following
Spanish influenza.  He was stricken several days ago, while on a hunting trip
with friends.  Mr. McNeill was widely known throughout Georgia having served
this district previously in the state senate and filled several important
positions.
