L. Means Funeral Will Be Held Today Funeral services for William L. Means, 78, who died yesterday morning at a local hospital, will be held at 5 p.m. today at the Burghard Connally chapel with the Rev. F. M. Gaines officiating. Burial will be in the family lot in Riverside cemetery. Mr. Means was born in Houston county Oct. 28, 1863, where he lived until he came to Macon in 1905. He was in the cotton business here until he retired. His wife died in August, last year. He was the son of the late William Means and Susan Lane Means of Houston county. Surviving are two sons, Mell Means, Macon; Frank Means, Valdosta; five daughters, Mrs. W. E. James, Macon; Mrs. Culver Aultman and Mrs. Bohannon, Columbus; Mrs. J. A. Badingfield and Mrs. Odis Rodgers, Tampa, Fla.; a niece, Mrs. Anthony Pate, Unadilla and several grandchildren. Pallbearers for the funeral will be W. O. Kinney, L. J. Morton, W. R. Richardson, L. A.
