He formerly lived in Macon, but had been making his home in Spartanburg two years. He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. E.T. Momand, of Macon; five brothers, R.T., of Macon; E.C., of Irwinton; Marvin, of Atlanta; F.F., of Jacksonville, and Grady, of Macon; besides four sisters, Mrs. R.L. Asbell, Atlanta; Mrs. O.A. Oxford, of Forsyth; Mrs. J.G. Dugger, of Reynolds, and Mrs. A.G. Smith, of Macon. The body arrived in Macon Sunday night and was carried to Burghard’s Chapel. The funeral was held Monday afternoon at 4 o’clock from Centenary Methodist church, the Rev. W.M. Blitch, pastor, officiating. Burial followed in Rose Hill. Mr. Momand was a member of the Tampa lodge of the Elks. The Spartanburg lodge held services over the body before it left for Macon. – Macon News Mr. Momand was an uncle of Mrs. J.C. Moulton, of this city, and had other relatives here who were shocked to learn of his sudden death.
