E.W. Warren D.D., which occurred in the city of Macon on Sunday night of last week. Dr. Warren had resided in Macon many years, and it is no exaggeration to say, that few men in that city was as greatly beloved as Dr. Warren, or have been or will be as sincerely and widely mourned. He was pastor of the Tatnal Square Baptist Church at the time of his death, but his great worth and unpretending walk in life were loved and admired by Christians of all denominations as well as by those who were members of any church. His influence for good eternity alone will tell. He has gone from among his friends but his good work and bright example will not perish but be treasured up in loving memories for years to come.
