LIZELLA-Mr. Valda Patrick, 72, died Sunday in a local hospital. Cryptside 
services were held at 3:30 P.M., Wednesday at Glen Haven Mausoleum with the 
Rev. Gary Cadwell officiating. Mr. Patrick, son of the late Genie and Nan 
Hulett Patrick, was born in Milan and had lived in this area most of his life. 
He was a U. S. Army Veteran and was of the Baptist Faith. Mr. Patrick was 
retired from Armstrong World Industries. -Survivors include his wife, Betty Y. 
Patrick of Lizella; four daughters, Twila Ann Addison of Jones County, Missy 
Patrick of Atlanta, Tangie Moroney of Crawford County and Robyn Patrick of 
Macon; two sons, Bryan Patrick of Lizella and Dewayne Arnold of Macon; three 
brothers, W. L. Patrick and Fred Patrick, both of St. Petersburg, FL and Merle 
Patrick of McRae; his sister, Latrell Hulett of McRae; five grandchildren; 
four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. -The family met 
friends from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M., Tuesday at Snow's Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono
