                            William T. Peacock
 Funeral services for William Thomas Peacock, 55, of 3684 Alexander Avenue 
will be held at 3:30pm today in the Sardis Primitive Baptist Church near 
Adrian.
 The remains will lie in state one hour prior to service. Rev. Albert Evans 
and Rev. Gus Walden will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
 Pallbearers will be W. E. Self, Roscoe Allen, L. A. Murner, J. H. Barrett, J. 
C. Whitehead, and L. E. Oxley. Deacons of the Bellevue Baptist Church will 
constitute an honorary escort.
 Peacock, a track maintenance foreman with the Central of Georgia Railway, 
died unxpectedly Monday. He was born in Johnson County, the son of Joseph J. 
and Elmira Kersey Peacock. He was a member of the Maintenance of Way 
Brotherhood and the Bellevue Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon.
 He is survived by his wife, the former Irene Tyson; five sons, Willie Ray, 
Bobby Don, Julian D., Billy Joe, and Tim. J. Peacock, all of Macon; three 
daughters, Mrs. Nelia Mae Lavender, Gordon, Miss Cathy Ann and Miss Jackie Lee 
Peacock, both of Macon; four brothers, Oscar Peacock, Macon, Arthur and Albert 
Peacock, Dublin, and Freeman Peacock; three sisters, Mrs. Geneva Toler, 
Brandenton, Fla., Mrs. Mary Jones, Swainsboro, and Mrs. Dallas Odom; 11 
grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
 Horton-Ivey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
