Gray - Pauline Kitchens Pettis, 86, of Gray, died Friday, December 13, 2002.  
Funeral services were  at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, December 15, 2002 in the Mausoleum 
Chapel of Glen Haven Memorial Gardens with burial in Glen Haven Memorial 
Gardens.  Mrs. Pettis was born in Twiggs County and had lived in Macon before 
moving to Jones County in 1981.  She was a homemaker and a member of Immanuel 
Baptist Church,  Survivors incluse 2 sons, Arthur F. Crosby of Jones Co., and 
Willie H. Crosby, Jr. of Cartersville; 4 daughters, Martha Ann Crosby of Gray, 
Amagene Newell of Macon, Margaret Bonner of Macon and Peggy Land of Gray; 11 
grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and one sister, Dolly Yeager of 
Macon.  The family greeted friends from 4 - 5 p.m. Saturday at Simpson-Childs 
Funeral Home, Gray, and could be contacted at the residence of Arthur Crosby, 
191 Luella Dr., Jones County.   Simpson-Childs Funeral Home, Gray, had charge 
of arrangements.
