Sellers on Macon died Friday, July 8, 2005. Funeral Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 12, 2005 at Bloomfield Gardens Baptist Church with the Reverend Randall Mimbs officiating. Visitation was held Tuesday, July 12, 2005 from 11:00 until 1:00 p.m. at the church. Burial was in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens, Veterans Section, Lot 62 C, space 3. The family could be contacted at 4411 Chicadee Lane, the home of James and Carol Elliott. Mr. Sellers was a member of Al Sihah Shrine Temple, the Rutland Masonic Lodge and the Scottish Rite as well as a member of the "Rejects". Mr. Sellers was a retired U.S. Navy Veteran after twenty one years of service and received a medal of honor. Survivors: his wife Jessie Hudgins Sellers of Macon; a daughter, Teressa Toro (George) of Macon; a son, Michael C. Sellers (Linda) of Lizella; Sisters, Wanda Fraley of Macon and Joyce Leavitt (Bob) of Warner Robins: a brother, Wallace Sellers (Cathy) of Corona, CA; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
