MACON - Graveside services for Mary Frances Brown Stokes was at 11 A.M. 
Friday, December 27, 2007 in Asbury Church Cemetery. Rev. Eddie Windham  
officiated. -Visitation was Thursday, December 27 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. in 
White Columns Funeral Home. -Mrs. Mary Frances Brown Stokes, 81, of Macon, 
passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2007. Daughter of the late Mack Lee and Ida 
Wimberly Brown, she was a lifelong resident of Twiggs County. Preceded in 
death by her husband, George F. Stokes, and children, Cathy and Wyman Stokes, 
Mrs. Stokes was a Nurse's Aide at Goodwill Nursing Home for over 20 years, and 
member of Antioch Baptist Church. -Survivors: Son, George Thomas "Tommy" 
Stokes, Dry Branch; Daughters, Trudie (Robert) Whitten, Macon, Wanda 
(Marshall) Smith, Macon; Sister, Lillian Wimberly, Dry Branch; nine 
grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, a number
