KNOXVILLE, GA - Rebecca Lee Tanner, 83, of Knoxville, GA, passed away Friday, 
December 7, 2008. Funeral Service will be held at 11 A.M. Monday, December 10, 
2007 in the Ocmulgee East Boulevard Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Glen 
Haven Memorial Gardens. Reverend Charles Nall and Reverend Buford Tanner will 
officiate. Visitation will be held Sunday, from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. in the 
funeral home. -Born in Washington County, GA, she was the daughter of the late 
Hubert Archie Robertson and Georgia Mabel Millican Robertson. She was the 
widow of Curtis Tanner Sr. She was predeceased by her brother and sister, 
Billy Robertson and Louise Robertson. Mrs. Tanner was a member of the Ocmulgee 
East Boulevard Baptist Church where she was the Sunbeam Director, which was 
later called Mission Friends for over 40 years. Her hobbies were sewing, 
making crafts and gardening. -She is survived by her children, Mary (Charles) 
Johnson of Knoxville, GA; Kay (Johnny) Allen of Macon; Fay (Gene) Parshall of 
Warner Robins, GA; Curtis (Ouida) Tanner Jr. of Macon; Twelve Grandchildren, 
and Twenty great Grandchildren; Brothers, Archie (Alma) Robertson, Joe 
Robertson, and Jimmy(Georgia) Robertson, all of Macon. -Family may be 
contacted at the residence of Kay and Johnny Allen, 114 Meadow Drive, Macon, 
GA. -Hart's Mortuary and Crematory has charge of arrangements. Rebecca Tanner
