Felton Taylor to Be Held Near Fort Valley COMPANION IN HOSPITAL Fort Valley, Ga., June 5 - Funeral services for W. Felton Taylor, 27, of Fort Valley, who was almost instantly killed in an automobile accident near Macon yesterday, will be held at 11 o'clock this morning at Union Primitive Baptist Church, near here. W. T. Culpepper, Taylor's companion in the accident, is in hospital here. Physicians said tonight they are hopeful of his recovery, but said his condition still is critical, because of a suffering throat and the shock of the tragedy. Taylor was driving the car the two men occupied. Friends said tonight he has borne the reputation of a good driver, but a fast driver. Find Taylor Responsible A coroner's jury investigating the death of W. Felton Taylor, 27, of Fort Valley, who was killed in an automobile accident near Seven Bridges, Friday night, returned a verdict yesterday stating that he came to his death from an accident caused by his own carelessness. The body was taken to Fort Valley yesterday morning at 10 o'clock. The inquest was held at Hart's. The accident occurred about 7:30 p.m., when the two men were on their way from Macon to Fort Valley. The windshield of the car was clouded by rain and when Mr. Taylor attempted to drive around a car in front o fhim he struck the front of a transfer truck coming towards Macon, on the other side of the road. Mr. Culpepper said he had not seen the truck. He was brought to the Macon Hospital for treatmetn and later discharged and Mr. Taylor's body was taken to Hart's.
