MACON -7Wilbur R. Turner, Jr. 77, passed away on October 1, 2007. Services 
were held Friday, October 5, 2007 at 4 P.M. in the Chapel of Hart's Mortuary 
with the Reverends Shane Green and Frank Harris officiating. Entombment was  
in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Visitation: Friday from 3:00 until 4:00 P.M. 
in the funeral home. -Born in Diamond, West Virginia, on August 27, 1930, Mr. 
Turner was the son of the late Reverend W. R. Turner, Sr. and the late Lyda 
Withrow Turner. Mr. Turner was a member of Forest Hills United Methodist 
Church for 33 years. He served in the United States Army during the Korean 
Conflict and was retired from the United States Government. He was preceded in 
death by a son, Michael Turner. -Survivors include his wife of 56 years, 
Janice Anderson Turner; Daughter, Paulette Williams of Macon; Grandchildren, 
Ashley Williams and fiance' Darryl Scott of McDonough, GA, Amanda Williams of 
Macon and Alaina Brooks and husband Chad of Athens, GA; Daughter-in-law, Cara 
Turner of Milledgeville, GA. -The family may be contacted at the residence. -
Hart's Mortuary had charge of arrangements.
