The Macon Telegraph 1-5-1929
                            Leona Elizabeth Tyson
 Leona Elizabeth Tyson, six-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tyson, died at 
the family residence, 319 Walnut Street at 7:20 Friday night. She was born May 
4, 1922 and had always lived in Macon. She was enrolled at the Tabernacle 
Sunday School and attended Whitle public school. Death came after an illness 
of 10 days with influenza and pneumonia.
 Surviving are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Tyson of Macon and her 
grandmother, Mrs. S. E. Tyson of Macon. She was the only child of Mr. and Mrs. 
Tyson. The funeral will be held at 4pm Sunday at Hart's chapel. Rev. R. T. 
Russell, pastor of the Baptist Tabernacle church will conduct the services. 
Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery.
