                  Mrs. Lizzie Tyson, 72, Rites This Afternoon
 Mrs. Lizzie Tyson, 72, of 5325 Rivoli Drive, died yesterday. Services will be 
held today at 2pm in Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park.
 Mrs. Tyson was born in Round Oak and was educated in the Jones County public 
schools. She had lived in Macon most of her life and attended Mt. Zion Baptist 
Church. Mrs. Tyson and her husband operated the W. M. Tyson store on Forsyth 
Road for more than 35 years.
 Mrs. Tyson was the daughter of the late Gus Simmons and the late Mary Lizzie 
Maynard Simmons.
 Survivors include her husband, W. M. Tyson Sr. of Macon; two sons, W. M. 
Tyson Jr. of Warner Robins and Julius Tyson of Macon; three daughters, Mrs. 
Peter J. Klepsig of Macon, Mrs. Kelley M. Towles of Macon, and Mrs. Odie 
McLemore of Macon; two sisters, Mrs. G. C. Andrews Sr. of Macon and Mrs. Carl 
Asbury of Miami, Fla.; 14 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
 The family will be at 5325 Rivoli Drive, the residence of Mr. W. M. Tyson Sr.
