MRS. JAMES THOMAS DIES IN HOSPITAL Mrs. James A. Thomas,
of 3380 Vista Circle, died in a local hospital; at 7:05
a.m. Sunday following an illness of a few months.

Mrs. Thomas was the former Mabel Davis, daughter of the
late Capt. W.A. Davis and Mrs. Mary Summers Davis. Mabel
Masonic Lodge was named for Mrs. Thomas whose father was
then the Grand Master of  the grand Lodge of Masons of
Georgia.

She is survived by her husband, Col. James A. Thomas, and
a son, Col. W.A. D. Thomas both of U. S. Army retired of
Macon; a daughter , Mrs. Walter Radman of St. Petersburg,
Fla. a brother, Edwin S. Davis, Macon; four grandchildren
and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be in the chapel of hart's Mortuary
Monday afternoon at 5 o'clock and will be conducted by
A.S. Grinalds of the First Church of Christ, Scientist,
of which Mrs. Thomas was a member.
