 -MACON - Funeral services for Luther L. Walker, Sr., will be at 12 Noon 
Wednesday in New Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will 
follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Pastor Richard Gammage will officiate. Mr. 
Walker, 68, passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2008. - A Macon native and 
retired Machine Operator with Southern Crate and Box Company, he was preceeded 
in death by his parents, Johnny and Susie Fanning-Walker and sister Essie Mae 
Williams. -Survivors include one son, Luther Walker, Jr.; brothers, George 
(Betty) Walker, Steven Walker, Julius Mills, Henry (Tara) Walker, Willie 
Walker and Louis Smith; sisters, Susie Heath, Lucinder Mills, Flora Jean 
Walker, Annie Ruth Walker, Brenda Walker, and Franciene Walker; one grandson, 
Montarvis Walker; former spouse, Mary Walker; and a host of other relatives 
and friends. -The family may be contacted at 3356 Armstrong Drive, North, 
Macon. -Jones Brothers Mortuary has charge of arrangements. Luther Walker, Sr.
