Macon – Mrs. W.H. Walker, mother of William Walker, who was last week 
sentenced to hang for burning his wife to death, dropped dead at the residence 
of Mrs. J.B. Murray.  The aged woman had been complaining since she heard the 
death penalty imposed on her son last week in Bibb Superior Court.  She was 
seventy-two years of age.
