MORTUARY.

Death of Miss Laura Whitehurst.
Macon, Ga., June 24-
Miss Laura Whitehurst, one of the best known ladies of the community, died at 
the family home on First street last night after a brief illness.  She was 50 
years of age and had many friends.  The funeral was conducted this afternoon by 
Dr. M. J. Forrester and the remains were interred in Rosehill cemetery.  The 
services were conducted at the home.
