George A. Wolfe, age 79 of 7540 Hawkinsville Road died Saturday in a local 
hospital after an extended illness.  Services were held aa 11 a.m., Tuesday in 
the chapel of Crest Lawn Funeral Home.  Burial was February 9, 1988 in Glen 
Haven Memorial Gardens, 7070 Houston Road, Macon, Ga 31216.  The Rev. Milton 
D. Adams officated.    Mr. Wolfe lived in Macon for the last 42 years.  He was 
a welding specialist with Robins Air Force base.   He was a World War ll Army 
Veteran and a Baptist.    Survivors include his wife, Dorothy W. Wolfe of 
Macon, two daughters, Nancy Cluckey of Warner Robins and Carole Tarr of 
Washington, D. C.; a brother, Grady Wolfe of Grovetown; two sisters, Norman 
Steed of Lincolnton and Maude Bray of Atlanta; four grandchildren.   The 
family could be contacted at 7540 Hawkinsville Road, Macon, Ga.
