JONES FAMILY 
 
I'm pretty sure it was taken in Macon, GA and must've been snapped 
ca1910-5 [my grma was md in 1917; it is marked with the photographer's emboss --
 Woodall's 
The tall fellow in the center, back row, is Edward Moore JONES [my ggf]. The 
young woman to his left [photo's right] is my gma, Virginia F, and on his other 
side is his wife, Ida Amelia MELL. 
that much is fact. 

I also have conjecture, mostly based on the bits I'm unravelling.   Edward's 
father was Peyton Wade JONES, who was CSA. I've found a  Peyton Wade Jr & Sr 
tho I don't know if he is the jr.--he's the only Peyton in the 1880 census-- he 
md Rebecca BARROW. 
[that much is fact.] in the photo, Virginia rests her hand on the shoulder of 
the woman in front of her. I think she's Va's granny, Rebecca. her husband 
would be seated to her right, and he looks like he probably fought in the 
war... 

Notice the fellow in the derby hat on the right... his little family of 3 
really stands apart from the others, don't they? wonder if he was a 'black 
sheep' Jones [tho they obviously did better than the others...]?
