d: 25 Aug. 1926

Additional Comments:
Anna H. Griffin was the first woman city commissioner of Columbus, Ga. from 1 
Jan. 1922 through 1 Jan. 1924.  The newer marker shows a specific date for her 
birth and the older original stone which is also visible in the photo shows 
her birth year as 1856.  I would say the new marker date would be correct due 
to her involvement in government and they keep pretty good records of 
employees and elected officials.
