died in Macon, Ga.

Additional Comments:
1880 Bibb County, Ga. census shows Charles Refeld born abt 1834 in Germany.  
His wife was named Caroline according to the census. The census shows his 
mother in law was living with them and her name was Sarah Waxelbaum, aged 75, 
born in New York as was Caroline her daughter.  Apparently Caroline had been 
married to a Goldberg and a May before as there are several children listed as 
step children with that last name in the household. One step child has the 
last name of May.
