McCord – Taylor

A marriage that will be of much interest to our people was that of Miss Leona 
McCord, of Thomson, to Mr. Rufus Taylor, of Macon.

The marriage was solemnized Thursday, Oct. 15th, in Washington, Ga., at the 
home of Mr. W.P. Harris, the bride’s uncle.  Immediately after the ceremony Mr. 
and Mrs. Taylor left for Atlanta to attend the fair.  From there they came to 
Buena Vista to visit his parents.

Mr. Taylor is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Taylor, who live near this place, and 
is now employed with the Central of Ga. Railway Co. of Macon.
