Steed-Hardman

Mrs. Augustus Bailey Small, of Macon, announces the engagement of her 
daughter, Mrs. Eugenia Small Steed, to Dr. William Benjamin Hardman, of 
Commerce, Ga., the marriage to take place on February 19, at her home.  Mrs. 
Steed is a daughter of the late A. B. Small, wealthy and prominent wholesale 
grocer of Macon, and is a widow of the late Clem P. Steed, who at the time of 
his death, was a very prominent member of the Macon bar.  She is one of the 
most charming women in Georgia.  Dr. Hardman is a wealthy and prominent 
physician of Commerce, Ga., is president of the board of trustees of Mercer 
university and president of the Georgia State Medical society.
