Bruce and Sarah Ann Williams married March 23, 1850 Sarah Ann (Williams) Bruce died of consumption June 18th 1853 Saturday, Age 20 years, 8 mos & 24 days, second daughter of W. Williams. She was buried by the side of her mothr at Fowlstown Church, llived and died a Christian. Willian N. Bruce married last wife in Cleveland, Caroline County, Virginia by Reverend W. Grice to Mary Susan Bates, daughter of William D. Bates, July 24th 1857. William N. Bruce born October 13th 1811, six miles north of Cheraw, S.C. Mary Susan Bates born December 4th 1831 in Caroline County, Virginia Louisa Powell was born ________. Lucy Estelle Bruce born May 4th 1858 Mary Susan Bruce born April 23rd 1860 George William Bruce born August 3rd 1862 Robert Lee Bruce born April 24, 1864 John Potter Bruce born June 9th 1866 Charles Bruce born February 5th 1869 - named for his Grandfather living at Darlington, S.C. and his Great Grand-Father living at Guilford, N.C. Sarah Bruce born October 26th 1872 Mary Susan Bruce married O.B. Floyd March 14th 1881 Lucy Estelle Bruce married Benjamin Griffin February 12th 1885 Sallie (Sarah) Bruce, the 8th child of Wm. N. Bruce, married William A. Gaines November 13th 1902 John Potter Bruce died July 10th 1884 William A. Gaines died January 8th 1926, age 83 years.
