Chason died Apr 1 was berred Apr 2, 1952 (Notes obtained personal interview with Mrs. Emma Chason Apr 30, 1956) "Mrs. Emma Chason gave the following information about her husband's Family:" Robert Lee Chason's Family lived about Prosperity Church about 9 miles North east of Bainbridge, Decatur County, Ga. Moved to above Cairo when he was a young boy. Lived there 3 years then moved to Mitchell County where wife now lives. Never did have much education as had to support the Family. His father lost his health as a young man in the C.S.A. His wife (Mary Gunn) drew a pension a few years before she died. Robert Lee was the Son of John Chason. This John is buried at Mizpeh Church had twin brother Jonathan Chason who is also buried there. Both have stones.
