This bible was in very poor shape when I found it in the hands of
a son of Mercer Culpepper.  They were afraid to copy it, but I begged. 
His wife wrote me later to tell me that the copy was clearer than the
bible.  She made several copies and put them in libraries in and around
Decatur, GA.

* Mary Frances DeLoach
was the daughter of James A. and Rebecca ____? DeLoach.  His wife,
Eliza, had two children, Thomas, born 1845, and Sarah, born 1846,
according to census records.
