Henry Guess born May 1800 died Sept 1, 1867 was a soldier from DeKalb
County, Ga. In Indian War of 1836.  Married on March 7, 1839....

Jerusha Summers.   She was born Sept 3, 1810 died June 13, 1892, daughter of
Benjamin Summers born March 10, 1772 died May 2, 1829 & wife, Margaret
L. Robinson born Nov. 28, 1797 - Died July 20, 1855.

Children of Jerusha Summers and Henry Guess:

1.  Benjamin Franklin Guess     born Dec 25, 1839   died Jan 24, 1864
2.  Martha Sophia Guess         born Aug 14, 1842
3.  Sarah Elizabeth Guess       born Sep 07, 1844
4.  Willis Lafayette Guess      born Nov 01, 1846   died March 22, 1885
5.  Joseph Napoleon Guess       born Aug 09, 1849
6.  Henry Newton Guess          born Feb 21, 1851
7.  Julius Alexander Guess      born Nov 26, 1852   died July 1868

Benjamin Franklin Guess was a soldier in the Civil War.  Served in Phillips
Legion Georgia Volunteers.  Buried at Emory & Henry College, Va.
