The COCHRAN JOURNAL May 5, 1910
For Representative.
Democratic primary, trusting that democratic 
primary, trusting that each man will vote for 
the candidate best qualified to represent the 
public interest, waiving for that public duty, 
both friendship for me, and grudge against 
anyone. Pledge no man; vote convictions.  If 
the choice fall on me, I shall try to deserve 
the honor of your trust , as elected agent, by 
referring !all special measures of doubtful 
approval to a final vote of the people.
