Stuck Fork in Hand and Died From Blood Poison. Milledgeville, Ga., March 9. One of the saddest deaths ever recorded in Milledgeville occurred last Monday night at the industrial college. Miss Cherry White, aged 18 years, from Cochran, Ga., died from blood poisoning. Three weeks ago she accidentally stuck a fork in her hand and inflammation followed finally resulting in death. She was a greatly beloved member of the junior class and daughter of Mrs. C. B. White, a widow lady of Pulaski County. Everything possible was done for her. She had the best medical attention by Doctors Atkinson and Hall of this place, and Dr. Walker of Cochran, but it was of no avail. The interment will be at Cochran this afternoon. -- Additional Comments: Pulaski County, Georgia, Newspaper ClippingsTHE HAWKINSVILLE DISPATCH AND NEWS Hawkinsville, Georgia, https://www.familysearch.org/library/bo oks/ File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/ga/bleckley/newspapers/misscher2800gnw.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/gafiles/ File size: 1.7 Kb
