At the request of Mr. J. L. Walker we publish below the muster roll of Company E., Phillips' Legion, Bibb Cavalry. This company was composed of ten counties as follows: Baldwin,Jones,Twiggs, Wilkinson, Monroe, Talbot, Bibb, Macon, Crawford an Pulaski. There were 105 men in the company, ten of whom enlisted from Pulaski. Those from Pulaski were J. L. Walker, G. D. Walker, J. E. Taylor, N. S. Dixon, James Dykes, William Abney, R. W. Wynne, Jesse Lee and Lawrence Williams. Of these only three are now living - Mr. J. L. Walker, of Hawkinsville and Mr. J. E. Taylor and Mr. J. L. Overby of Cochran.
