Reception to Rev. and Mrs. Wade Parks.

   A very pleasant occasion was the Reception 
given on Tuesday evening by the ladies of the 
Cochran Baptist
 Church to tin- new pastor, Rev. 
W.H. Parks, and his excellent wife.
The reception was held at the residence of Dr. 
T. J. Walker, and the lovely home, fragrant 
with its rose-filled rooms, was graced by the 
presence of many lovely and beautifully gowned 
women.
   The guests were received at the door by Mrs. 
Manning Perry and Mrs. W. S. Coley. In the 
drawing room, Rev. and Mrs Parks were assisted 
in receiving by the deacons and their wives.
   In the dining room delicious cream and cake 
were served by the young ladies of the church. 
In the library the guests were entertained with 
music by Misses Wynne, Annie Mae Wynne and 
Joiner, and with recitations by Mrs. J 0. 
Dunham,  Miss Radcliffe and Mrs. Duggan, Mr. 
Jimmy Walker.
