19.	Lou Belle Asbell
 December 04, 1935 – July 16, 2010

     Cochran – Friday at Bryant Nursing 
Home Mrs. Lou Asbell, age 74, died. Mrs 
Asbell was born in Norfolk, VA. She was 
not only preceded in death by Husband 
Bob Asbell, her son Maurice A Swim, but 
also by both parents.
     She was a long time resident of 
Bleckley County have been living in 
Cochran, Georgia for 31 years. She was a 
bookkeeper for the Cherry Blossom 
Festival in Macon and was of Holiness 
faith.
      Mrs. Asbell is survived by her 
daughters, Donna (Glen) Hester of 
Cochran and Teresa Purser Humphries and 
finace’ Wilmer Gray, Sr. of Jones 
County; daughter-in-law, Connie Swim of 
Germany; brothers, Gravel (Iris) Wike, 
and Steve (Patty) Wike; sister, Victoria 
Wike; grandchildren, Samantha Hester, 
Danny R. Purser, John Daniel, Christie 
Posey, Cassie Purser Daniel, Carrie 
Purser, Maurice Swim and Michelle Swim; 
great grandchild, Alanna Daniel.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 
2:00 P.M. at Mathis Funeral Home. Burial 
will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
