5.	Steven M. Bridgers Sr.
 December 23, 1951 – May 28, 2010

     Cochran –Bibb Steven M. Bridgers, 
Sr., age 58, died Friday in the Vista 
Care Center at Wesley Woods in Atlanta. 
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 
3:00 P.M. in New Life Church of God. 
Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
     Mr. Bridgers, born in Bibb County, 
had lived in Cochran for 25 years.    
 He leaves behind  his wife, Marjorie L. 
Bridgers of Cochran; his 3 lovely 
children, Stephanie (Chad) Bohannon and 
Shelley Daniels of Cochran and Steven M. 
(Melissa) Bridgers, Jr. of Macon; his 
beloved mother, Barbara Bridgers of 
Macon;2 brothers, one from Macon, Larry 
(Jackie) Bridgers and the other from 
Warner Robins, Bruce (Donna) Bridgers; 
plus 2 sisters, Eleanor (Tommy) Canady 
of Lizella and Valorie (Bobby) Simmons 
of Monroe.  Family was at 135 Dodge Old 
Rebie Road, Cochran. Service will be at 
New Life Church of God on Sunday, and 
family has agreed to meet & greet 
friends from 2:00 P.M. until time for 
the service Sunday.
