Bryan, 84, of Chester, who died early Sunday morning in the Middle Georgia Nursing Home in Eastman following an extended illness, were held Monday afternoon at the Salem Baptist Church. The services were conducted by Elder Manning Bryant, Rev. James Peacock, and Rev. U. R. Albury. Burial was in the family lot in the Salem Cemetery. Mrs. Bryan was born in Bleckley County the daughter of the late Will and Georgia Ann Howell Hinson and has lived most of her life in Dodge County. She was the widow of the late Willie I. Bryan and was a member of the Chester Baptist Church. Survivors include two sons, Willie Giddens of Rt. 3 Cochran and Alvin Bryan of Eastman; one daughter, Mrs. Billy Sheffield of Eastman; one brother, Herbert Hinson of Cochran; 7 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. The pallbearers were Charles Cranford, Bobby Floyd, R. J. Pittman, William F. Woodard, J. R. Fordham, and Jimmy Beck. Fisher Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Additional Comments: Eppie was born 8 Sep 1883. Her first husband was Richard Giddens who is buried in Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Dodge County. Her second husband, Willie I. Bryan, is also buried in Salem Cemetery.
