                         Alvin I. Bryan Sr.

 EASTMAN--- Alvin I. Bryan Sr., 66, of Ward Street died Wednesday in an Augusta 
hospital.

 Graveside services will be held at 2pm Friday in Bowers Cemetery in Dodge 
County. The Rev. C. E. Faulk will officiate.

 A lifelong resident of Dodge County, Mr. Bryan was a retired truck driver for 
Bearden Oil Co. in Eastman.

 Survivors include two daughters, Betty Jean Pittman of Eastman and Miriam F. 
Woodard of Savannah; a sister, Christine Sheffield of Eastman; a brother, 
Willie Giddens of Chester; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

 Stokes-Southerland Funeral Home in Eastman has charge of arrangements.

Additional Comments:
Alvin was born 7 Feb 1922 to Willie I. Bryan and Eppie L. Hinson Bryan. Georgia 
death certificate #013168. His wife was Francine Register Bryan who is also 
buried in Bowers.
