Funeral services for 
Charles Franklin Burney 
83 of Dexter, who died 
Sunday in the Coliseum 
Medical Center in Macon, 
will be held Tuesday at 
2 P.M. in the Chapel of 
Fisher Funeral Home. 
Burial will be private 
in the Middle Ground 
Church Cemetery in Dodge 
County.
Mr. Burney was born in 
Laurens Co. the son of 
the late Robert Franklin 
Burney and Mamie Lee 
Scarborough Burney. He 
was a graduate if 
Cadwell High School. He 
was retired from The 
Blue Bird Co. and was a 
member of Mt. Carmal 
Baptist Church and a 
former Auctioneer.
He is survied by his 
daughter Robyn Burney of 
Dexter.
The family will meet 
friends following the 
services in the Chapel. 
In lieu of Flowers make 
donations to the Mt. 
Carmel Baptist Church, 
2605 Mt. Carmel Church 
Rd. Dexter, Ga. 31019.
