The funeral of Mrs. J.B. Carroll, 27 will be held Sunday at Bethany Church near
Cochran. The body will be taken from Hart's Chapel early Sunday morning. Mrs.
Carroll was a resident of 1824 Broadway and died at a local hospital. She has
been ill six months and little hopes were held for her recovery.

Mrs. Carroll was  a member of the Baptist church. Surviving are her husband,
J.B. Carroll; a son and daughter,  Mary Christine and Clinton Junior Carroll;
parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Wood of Fort Lauderdale, FL; three sisters and two
brothers; Mrs. J.P. Howard of North Carolina; George, Durward and Marvin Wood,
Misses Evie and Ethel Wood, all of Fort Lauderdale, Florida
