DC# 035514) and is buried at the Bleckley-Pulaski Memorial Gardens. From The Macon Telegraph 11-3-1973 page B4 John W. Chance COCHRAN---Services for John William Chance, 89, of Pecan Grove Apartments, who died Friday in a local hospital after a long illness, will be held at 3PM Sunday in the chapel of Mathis-Nobles Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Pulaski-Bleckley Memorial Gardens. Mr. Chance, a native of Twiggs County, lived in Cochran most of his life. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Annie Pearl Chance of Cochran; five sons, James W. Chance of Pennsylvania, John C. Chance, Albert NeSmith, both of Cochran, Fred NeSmith of Tulsa, Okla., Thomas NeSmith of Brunswick; five daughters, Mrs. David Davis and Mrs. Mrs. Florence Tucker, both of Tifton, Mrs. Bennie Darsy of Cochran, Mrs. Clinton Adkins of Hawkinsville, Miss Mary Chance of Macon; three sisters, Mrs. Joe Arnold and Mrs. Mark Fowler, both of Jeffersonville, Mrs. Elmer Hamm of Warner Robins.
