                                  Hollis Churchwell

 Hollis Churchwell, 70 of 1492 Berkshire Drive, died Sunday at his residence. 
Born in Bleckley County, he lived in Macon for the past 45 years. He was a 
Baptist and a former member of Cross Keys Lions Club, CC Camp, and Macon Army 
Reserve. He was a retired employee of Fickling and Walker Development Co. 
Survivors: wife, Carolyn Meadows Churchwell of Macon; children, Carlton 
Churchwell of Marietta and Carol Churchwell Taylor of Snellville; half brothers 
and sisters, C. B. Churchwell, Andrew Churchwell, and Minnie Smith, all of 
Cochran, Harold Stokes, George Stokes, and Mrs. Clifford Stokes, all of Macon, 
and Christine Bell of Warner Robins; and five grandchildren.

 Services: 3pm today in Crest Lawn Funeral Home with burial in Macon Memorial 
Park. The Revs. John Simmons and Kelly Prichard will officiate. Visitation: The 
family may be contacted at the residence.

Additional Comments:
Hollis was born 15 Jul 1922 to Sheal Benjamin Churchwell Sr. and Johnnie West 
Churchwell. Georgia death certificate #029097. His wife, is also buried at 
Macon Memorial Park.
