DEATH OF MRS. COLLINS. 
Tuesday, April 20, 1909
 
  Mrs. Bettie Collins, wife of Mr. W. 
R. Collins, died at her home, four 
miles east of Hawkinsville, on Thursday 
last from heart disease. Mrs. Collins 
was about 75 years old, and is survived 
by her husband and four children, Mrs. 
W. J. Beatty, of Hawkinsville; Messrs. 
W. H. and C. K. Collins of this county, 
and Mr. A. F. Collins, of Macon. 
  Mrs. Collins was a consistent member 
of the Baptist church, and was greatly 
beloved by all who knew her for her 
many excellent traits of character. 
The remains were interred at Cochran 
Friday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock, Rev. 
Mr. Tilley conducting the funeral 
services.
